Den Creus is a hip-hop artist from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. He started rapping in 2017 as Dizzy D and put out the Candy Dreams EP in 2018. After meeting Lynden he joined Wreckersvale Entertainment and became Den Creus. His debut album, Evil Eyes, arrived in January 2025, and a new album, The Creussifix, is on the way.

    The Jack of Clubs

    Den Creus is more than a name. It is a creative identity, and it starts with a playing card.

    In German, the clubs suit is called Kreuz, the word for cross. Creus carries that echo, and Denzil also hears in it the cross itself. The connection is his own: not a dictionary definition, but the meaning he chose to build on.

    Born on 21 May, he identifies with the Jack of Clubs, the card that cardology links to storytelling, a quick mind and a constant flow of ideas. That is how he sees his music. Nipsey Hussle shapes the other half of the picture: think differently, move with intention, make your own path.

    So the club is the mark. Every release adds another chapter to the story of Den Creus, and that story is still being written.

    Becoming Den Creus

    Meeting Lynden changed the direction. Denzil joined Wreckersvale Entertainment, took the name Den Creus, and in July 2022 released Pressure Talk, a song about the drive to chase a dream. More Life (2023) and Yim' Lo (2024) followed, made with the Wreckersvale circle.

    Evil Eyes

    His debut album landed in January 2025. Ten tracks, from The Crux to No Evil, with Kahn, Absoll Luz, Maverickk and Lynden. He produces his own beats in FL Studio. His sound moves across hip-hop, rap, trap, drill, Afrobeats and Sgubhu.

    Den Creus performs with a DJ. He has played the Zim Hip Hop Awards activation launch in Bulawayo, Bigger Than Hip-Hop, Speaker Box Concert, Lynden & Friends, Let's Talk Stories and Other Things, and A Story Teller's Galore.

    On air: interviewed on Star FM by the late Babongile Sikhonjwa (2025), and on NUST FM and Skyz Metro FM.
